Event Details
Undeclared work has various negative effects and consequences, not only on governments, but also on welfare systems, and businesses. Finding ways to act against undeclared work, therefore is a challenge, not only for governments, but needs actions from enterprises that strive to provide decent work and develop their communities.
Worker and social cooperatives in Europe are actively tackling undeclared work, developing diverse business models and initiatives that ensure that workers are not left to the vulnerabilities of undeclared work. This is the main focus of CECOP’s LIGHTS ON report. Its main findings will be presented during an online event, where will look at this phenomenon as it spreads across sectors, knows no national borders, intersects with human rights violations, and often affect female, migrants, and young workers.
CECOP invites you to meet these cooperatives and stakeholders, who help people emerge from undeclared work, and are turning the lights on.
Join us on November 19th at 10 AM (CET) online from wherever you are for this event!
