Rural Development Institute (RDI) – Brandon University

RDI functions as a not-for-profit research and development organization designed to promote, facilitate, coordinate, initiate and conduct multi-disciplinary academic and applied research on rural issues. It provides an interface between academic research efforts and the community, whereby projects are characterized by cooperative and collaborative efforts of multi-stakeholders.

RDI has 5 strategic research directions: rural immigration, regional economic development, governance and capacity building, rural infrastructure and services, and rural innovation.

With roughly 175 resources, it hosts a strong publications page – organized by either Research Interest or Publication Type: archived newsletters, factsheets, posters, publications for sale, workshops/webinars, books, other reports, and presentations.  English.
